The 2010 OHIO COUNTY PROFILES, prepared by the Office of Strategic Research, Ohio Department of Development, present a statistical compendium of selected demographic and economic characteristics associated with business and industry activity, and the amenities and services for Ohio and its eighty-eight counties. This publication provides users with a current statistical overview of Ohio that may be used for business decisions or policy making by business developers, researchers, planners, government leaders, social service agencies as well as the general public.
NOTE. Although the American Community Survey (ACS) produces population, demographic and housing unit estimates, it is the Census Bureau's Population Estimates Program that produces and disseminates the official estimates of the population for the nation, states, counties, cities and towns and estimates of housing units for states and counties.
